Jennifer Slightham

Jennifer Slightham brings nearly 20 years of sales and management experience to 434. As CEO, she is responsible for overseeing team management and development, revenue management, operational efficiency, and strategic business planning. She prioritizes creating a supportive, welcoming agency culture for 434’s team and clients. Jennifer formally stepped into the role of CEO in January 2023.
“When we started 434 over a decade ago, we had met a lot of business leaders who were burned by past agency experiences. Vendors often oversold and underdelivered, leaving clients feeling abandoned once their vendor’s contract was complete. We wanted to change that,” Jennifer said. “Early on we vowed to be a transparent, honest, and data-driven agency that our clients would trust to drive real business value. That value is still embedded in every strategic decision we make for our clients: We value their time and money like it’s our own, and we always hold ourselves accountable.”
As a former retail and sales manager for high-performance brands – including Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle – Jennifer thrives in fast-paced, demanding work environments where customer experience matters most. She understands what it takes to motivate a team and the importance of understanding a client's needs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Merchandising.
Jennifer is a dedicated wife and mother of three and is also committed to serving her community. She served as a member of the Downtown Lynchburg Board of Directors for six years with varying board responsibilities and now serves as Secretary on the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau Serving Western VA. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, walking her dog, working out with Peloton, and traveling with her family.
Jennifer was recognized by Lynchburg leaders from Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance and Lynchburg Office of Economic Development and Tourism in 2023 as a Top 20 under 40 leader in Lynchburg Business Magazine.
